Frequently Asked Questions
Terms of Service...
Q. What are your payment terms?A. I accept Paypal, money orders,(US only) and wire transfer such as Western Union.
On commission work, payment is expected upon completion of work. I will hold the doll for 1 year after date of completion and then reserve the right to sell it. If a doll purchase is requested for the commission, I will need a deposit equaling the cost of the doll before shopping for it. Some customers purchase a doll and have it shipped directly to me and that is acceptable.
On Doll sales, I expect payment within 3 days unless other arrangements are made. I do accept payment plans but will have to charge a 20% restock fee if purchase is canceled in between payment plan. I will expect a layaway schedule as to when I can expect payment. I am flexible to a point as long as communication is maintained.
Q. I saw a custom doll from someone and really want one just like it. Can you do that?
A. I cannot make copies of a custom one of a kind doll out of respect to the owner and artist that created the doll. I can take inspiration from it and we can come up with our own one of a kind doll, such as use similar hair color, theme ect... However, it will have to be different from the original inspiration piece.
Q. You did a doll for someone else that I love and want duplicate. Can you do that?
A. I cannot make a copy of one of my one of a kind dolls out of respect for the customer who might have paid lots of money for this special doll. Again we can take inspiration from it but it will also have to be one of a kind.
Q. I saw a hairstyle I really like. Can you do that?
A. Just as a hairdresser can duplicate a hairstyle on a human, I can duplicate a hairstyle on a doll and even use the same hair color. Again, I can't copy the look of a custom one of a kind doll that has more than just a new hairdo.
Q. I saw a stock doll I really like but can't afford because it's limited, hard to find, ect. Can you make a similar doll?
A. I can make a similar doll of a stock mass produced doll since it is not one of a kind. Example would be a limited Momoko doll, I can re-root another momoko to look similar to the stock Momoko.
Q. How does shipping work?
A. I leave it to the customer to decide how they want to ship a doll to me but I must use a reliable, insured registered service such as Priority Mail and EMS to ship the doll back. Packages sometimes get lost and I need to cover my loss as well as the customer's loss.
